Dive into the fusion of a Yin and Vinyasa flow with this rejuvenating hybrid. Vinyasa Yin is an integrated and balanced practice where you get the best of both worlds through sweat and surrender. Weβll combine the energetic Vinyasa flow (Yang) with long held, seated and reclined postures (Yin) that focus on the hips, pelvis, and low spine. This class includes a dynamic active sequence working at a muscular level to build strength and balance as well as a slower, quieter sequence of poses for calming the nervous system. Expect to work deeper into the connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, and tendons. These sessions are suitable for seasoned yoga practitioners; prior yoga experience is recommended.

Yin Yoga is the counterbalance to a Yang Yoga practice, such as Vinyasa or Power style sessions. Yin Yoga primarily focuses on the joints, ligaments, tendons, and fascia surrounding the muscles. Poses are held for two to five minutes (seated and lying down) and designed to create length and deep healing in the body. While there may be some slight discomfort as we work our way through the poses, you can expect to come off your mat feeling lighter and more relaxed. The key to Yin Yoga is to ease into the practice gently, finding a deeper connection to the body and breath. Props are always encouraged, but not required, and available for use in the studio.

It uses facial exercises, massage, acupressure, relaxation, and wellbeing techniques to help plump and firm your skin, smooth lines and wrinkles, tone and sculpt your face, relax tension, and boost blood flow. Although Face Yoga can help you look good on the outside, it also focuses on feeling good on the inside. It teaches us how to love the skin we are in and provides us with tools and techniques to feel amazing naturally.
